A fabulous vintage ring crafted in 18ct gold in a larger UK size R. The ring features a beautiful bright green square cut emerald, surrounded by a halo of single cut diamonds in a raised, square, white gold gallery. The emerald is securely 4 claw set and the stone does have (as we would expect at this age) nibbles to the facet edges visible under the loupe. Emerald is a soft stone, and chips/nibbles are to be expected when the stone is not bezel set. Future caretakers of this ring should ensure they take it off before any activity where the stone could get knocked, to keep it in its current condition.

The ring band is fashioned from 18ct yellow gold and the piece is a lovely example of mid century design - it has clearly been a treasured item for many years. The band is in great condition for its age, as are the ring claws. Furthermore, the emerald is a really vibrant and bright shade of green. This piece would make a perfect vintage engagement ring, but equally a lovely choice to celebrate another special occasion such as a birthday or graduation. Whoever decides to be this ring's next custodian, will be thrilled.

Important note: the vintage ring case you can see in the photos is one of our props and is not being sold with the ring. Also, we do not offer ring resizing, so this is something you would need to arrange after purchase.
