We offer no-quibble returns on our jewellery within 30 days of receipt (a few small exclusions apply, see below for more info). Return postage costs are your responsibility.
UK RETURNS
Our return address is: KIC Group, PO Box 1352, Cheltenham, GL50 9GT.
Courier services such as Evri, Parcelforce, DHL etc cannot deliver to a PO Box address, please only use Royal Mail.
Returning Items Valued Under £100
We recommend Royal Mail First or Second Class for for items valued at less than £100. Proof of posting must be obtained and provided you have this, we will insure the return against loss.
Returning Items Valued Over £100
Please always use Royal Mail Special Delivery to return items valued over £100. You will be liable for loss if this service has not been used.
Please keep your proof of posting / tracking receipt until we confirm we have received your item back. In most cases, we issue your refund on the day the parcel arrives with us - we don't keep you waiting.
ROI RETURNS
Some important points about returns from Ireland (which are also accepted within 30 days):-
- Please contact us at hello@sterlingwilde.co.uk to let us know your intention to return and to obtain our international returns address.
- Do get adequate insurance and track the parcel too.
- Do mark the parcel RETURN OF SAMPLE MERCHANDISE TO UK so we are not charged customs fees on its entry to the UK.
RETURN POLICY EXCLUSIONS
To be eligible for a refund, your item must be in the same condition that you received it. The jewellery must be unworn and any case/box supplied returned. Please pack the parcel securely for transit.
Jewellery items that have been altered for you in any way (for example engraving) are not eligible for return.
Earrings that have been removed from their sealed hygiene pouch are also not eligible for return.
We extend our returns policy at Christmas, so that items purchased from 1st November onwards can be returned up to 15th January for a refund. Jewellery should be unworn and in as new condition.
We ship most orders within 1-2 business days. Where dispatch times are longer than this, we will make sure you are aware, either via the product page or via a message after purchase.
Deliveries to the UK will go via a Royal Mail Tracked Service, or via Royal Mail Special Delivery. We aim to deliver promptly!
Tracked 24 parcels are usually delivered in 1-2 working days after we ship but can take longer. Tracked 48 parcels are usually delivered within 2-3 working days after we ship but can also take longer. Neither service is considered lost until 10 working days have passed.
Special Delivery is the quickest service, and is almost always delivered the next working day after we ship. During December, all services slow down and delivery estimates are longer.
All parcels are GPS tracked to their destination and are insured for loss.
In the case of high value items, we reserve the right to only deliver to the cardholder's address.
Yes we do! And we love serving our Irish customers.
Due to our inability to collect Irish VAT, the checkout price shown for delivery addresses in the ROI will exclude both UK and Irish VAT. It should also convert to Euro.
23% Irish VAT will be collected by the courier upon delivery of your goods + an admin fee.
For Royal Mail deliveries the admin fee is set at £8 (converted to Euro).
For DHL deliveries, the admin fee is 2.5% of the order total, with a minimum charge of £11 (converted to Euro).
Please factor these increases into your total price. We apologise in advance for the extra hassle.

We have designed our packaging to be as minimal and Earth-friendly as possible.
Our jewellery boxes are made from recycled card as are our postage boxes. Our tissue paper is recycled and the care card we enclose in your parcel is printed, in house, on recycled card. Even the tape we seal your postage box with is recycled.
Our jewellery box foam inserts are not recycled as yet, but we are working hard to change that asap.

We are a family-run, honest jewellers, skilled at what we do and experienced with what we sell. All of our jewellery is sold in accordance with UK law.
For solid gold items that weigh 1 gram or more, a UK hallmark will be stamped on the piece. Items under 1 gram will be stamped with a fineness mark: 375 for 9ct gold, 585 for 14ct gold and 750 for 18ct gold.
For solid silver items that weigh 7.78 grams or more, a UK hallmark will be stamped on the piece. If the items falls below this weight, a fineness mark of 925 will be stamped on the jewellery instead.
Silver jewellery that has been plated in a fine layer of gold will be hallmarked in accordance with the silver standards above.
Items made purely of gold or platinum are referred to as fine jewellery. Items made from silver or silver plated in a thin layer of gold are referred to as demi-fine.
Silver is a strong, durable and hypoallergenic metal that has been treasured by humans for thousands of years. It is a lot less expensive than gold, and is a great alternative for jewellery.
Solid Gold & Silver Jewellery
We warranty all of our jewellery against manufacturing faults for 12 months from the date of purchase.
We offer a refund or repair warranty within 6 months, and repair only warranty after 6 months.
Manufacturing faults include things like faulty clasps and closures.
Manufacturing faults do not include snapped / snagged / pulled chains and bracelets and other wearer damage.
If you do happen to break a chain purchased from us, we will do our best to repair it for you. We do charge for repairs, but we don't profit from them. So it's a cost price only repair.
Gold Plated Jewellery
Our normal warranty applies to gold plated jewellery with the following exception:
Gold plating will wear off over time and expose the 925 sterling silver underneath. This is to be expected with wear - and is only covered under our warranty if it happens within 6 months. If you are seeking a longer lasting gold colouring on your jewellery item, you would be best placed to order a fine piece of solid gold jewellery.

We are experienced gemmologists and go to great lengths to source good quality stones, and also to accurately describe those stones to you.
We sell a mixture of natural, treated and synthetic gemstones. Each product page will clearly describe the stone being sold with no ambiguity.
All diamonds are purchased in accordance with the Kimberley Process. We do not sell conflict diamonds.
