About the Curb Chain

The curb chain is the most popular chain style manufactured and sold today. It consists of tightly packed links, which can be flat, raised or even bevelled. Fine curb chains are a popular choice for pendants, while wide curb chains work well as standalone or statement necklaces.

Lovely chain.

This was bought for my grandson’s 13th birthday. I was very happy with the chain and the service. My grandson loved it,sadly he wore it while in a hot tub and it went slightly yellow,we keep polishing it with a silver cloth to get ,it back to normal.

Hi Valerie - thanks for the lovely review. Just a few tips to help with the discoloration which has most likely occurred due to chemicals in the hot tub water:

- purchase a 'Cape Cod' polishing cloth on ebay/amazon. Usually around £5 posted. This is a wet cloth that is superb at removing stubborn tarnish and bringing up sterling silver beautifully.
- once finished with the Cape Cod cloth (and it may need a liberal rubbing before you are finished), a polish with a dry 'Town Talk Silver Polishing Cloth' (usually around £2.50) should remove the last of any stubborn tarnish. This may be what you have already, but using after Cape Cod is most effective.

Both of these items can be reused many times and are ideal for keeping silver looking its best. Failing that, I can always clean it for you if you return it to KIC Group, PO Box 1352, Cheltenham, GL50 9GT.

Kindest regards,
Abigail
