Men's gold chains are popular items of neck wear and come in a variety of styles and lengths. Typically, for a man, the shortest chain length you should buy is 20 inches, and that will sit reasonably high up his neckline. But many men prefer much longer chains, and for some men with a large neck circumferences 20 inches will be far too small. We stock our men's gold chains in 20 22 24 and sometimes 26 28 and 30 inch lengths. We love figaro chain necklaces, and especially in 9ct gold! Figaro chains consist of a long oval link, separated by two or sometimes three smaller links, either round or oval. Finer figaro chains are perfect to hold a treasured pendant, while wider chains are eye catching and great as standalone necklaces.
Belcher chains, also referred to as rolo chains, can be fine and delicate or solid and heavy. Like the figaro, a finer belcher chain is a great to hold a pendant, while a thicker gold belcher chain looks fabulous as a standalone necklace. Belcher chain links tend to all be the same size and shape, and can be D shaped, oval, round or even square.
Men's gold rope or Prince of Wales chains are versatile necklaces made up of interwoven gold oval or round links, making for a very strong chain indeed. If you want a fine chain but your pendant is very precious, this would be a good choice, as it is far less likely to snag than say a figaro chain. As a statement gold necklace, thicker gold rope or prince of wales are incredibly beautiful and eye catching pieces of neckwear.
Men's gold curb chains are the most commonly made, bought and worn necklaces of the modern age. Curb links are uniform in size and shape, and can be flat, raised of bevelled. They can be tightly links, such as in a gold close curb chains, or more openly linked as in a typical flat gold curb chain. Fine gold curb chains are great for pendants, while wider curb chain necklaces are perfect as statement pieces. Most men's gold curb chains are diamond cut giving them beautiful light reflection, and overall the curb chain is a timeless and classic necklace.
Our men's gold chains are made from 9ct gold, for the most part to keep them as affordable as possible. However, we can also source the equivalent chain in 18ct gold, so get in touch in that's your preference. We can also source rose and white gold pieces, though these are less commonly made since yellow gold remains a firm favourite in the UK.
